Meet the Director

Hi I'm Jaslyn, your Centre Director at Little Saints Maffra!

My Journey to Centre Director is a little bit different to others in this role. I have spent most of my career working in the primary education, child protection and child mental health and wellbeing space!

I have a real passion for guiding the growth of our future leaders and community members and believe that with the right guidance and a bit of consistency children are capable of anything.

My drive to be a part of the Little Saints Team in Maffra was due to my daughter who has been a part of the Little Saints Maffra journey from the beginning. As a parent who is so invested in my daughters future and the community it dawned on me that I could bring all of my knowledge and tools to make a really positive change within the centre, and therefore the future of our communities.

In my spare time I am a busy mum of 2 girls, conquering teenage life and toddlerhood! I love being outdoors and soaking up the sunshine, going camping, and making memories with my family!

I have been the parent who felt like putting my child into care was the biggest step I had to take, so it is with full intention that I can support and nurture this transition in all your lives!

Located in the quiet community of Maffra, this gorgeous service has magnificently landscaped yards and beautiful light filled classrooms and is within walking distance to the town centre. 104 placements available for families over 6 classrooms, each with a dedicated learning team of qualified educators ready to engage children in play based learning through simultaneous indoor/outdoor play.

Educators provide children with calm and nurturing environments that stimulate their imagination and promote their innate ability to learn through the world around them, providing resources both new and recycled, taking opportunities to build on the thoughts and ideas of every child. The curriculum is led by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, in the kindergarten and long day care classrooms.
