Our Maffra centre is truly a hidden gem. Tucked away on Powerscourt, it offers an Australian paradise for early childhood education. With expansive open spaces, beautifully maintained yards and even centre pets, we foster curiosity, spark young imaginations and encourage independence.
Each learning space is filled with natural light and thoughtfully designed to support children to learn, grow and develop — all while giving them room to breathe. As a 104-place centre, we offer six classrooms catering for children from 6 weeks to 6 years, each supported by a dedicated team of qualified educators.
Our educators engage children in rich, play-based learning through simultaneous indoor and outdoor experiences. With fully stocked resources, including both new and recycled materials, we build on every child’s ideas and interests, creating a welcoming environment where every child feels a strong sense of belonging.
Our curriculum is guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework across our kindergarten and long day care programs.
Meet the
Centre Director
My name is Jaslyn
I am the Director at Little Saints Maffra, bringing a broad depth of knowledge to support children to grow and develop holistically. My professional journey is a little different to many centre directors, having worked across Primary Education, Child Protection, and Children’s Mental Health and Wellbeing.
This experience allows me to ensure every child receives an early childhood education that supports emotional intelligence, motor development and school readiness, setting them up with strong foundations for life beyond our centre.
My decision to join the Little Saints Maffra team was deeply personal. My daughter has been part of the Little Saints journey from the very beginning, and as a parent invested in her future and our local community, I recognised the opportunity to bring my skills, knowledge and passion into the centre. I am proud to contribute to positive change not only within Little Saints, but within the wider community our children will one day lead.
I am passionate about guiding the growth of our future leaders and believe that with the right support, consistency and encouragement, children are capable of anything.
As a mother of two very busy girls, I understand how significant the decision to place your child into care can feel. I have stood in those shoes, and it is with genuine care and intention that I support families through this transition, ensuring every child feels safe, nurtured and truly valued.
