Our Newborough Centre strikes a perfect balance between modern aesthetics and the timeless dream of wide-open spaces. Ideally located on John Field Drive, the centre captures the natural beauty of Gippsland, offering expansive yards and even resident pets to foster curiosity and a lifelong love for the outdoors.

Each learning space is bathed in natural light and thoughtfully designed to support children as they learn, grow, and develop—providing them with true "room to breathe." As a 104-place centre, we offer six specialised classrooms catering to children from 6 weeks to 6 years, each led by a dedicated team of qualified educators.

Our educators engage children in rich, play-based learning through seamless indoor and outdoor experiences. Utilising a diverse range of resources—from brand-new equipment to sustainable recycled materials—we build upon each child’s unique interests to create a welcoming environment where every student feels a profound sense of belonging.

Our curriculum is proudly guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) across both our kindergarten and long day care programs.

Meet the
Centre Director

My name is Tanya

I am the Centre Director at one of our newest services, Little Saints Newborough. Having been part of the Little Saints Early Learning team for the past six years, I’ve drawn on my experience and knowledge to help shape this centre into a space that nurtures curiosity and supports each child’s development.

My journey with Little Saints began when I moved to Traralgon in July 2020. During this time, I undertook my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and have since held a variety of roles within the organisation. Most recently, I worked as the Educational Leader across our Moe, Traralgon, Maffra, and Sale services. This role provided me with valuable opportunities to engage with a diverse range of learning styles and abilities—an experience I truly value.

I have a strong interest in children’s learning and development and am passionate about delivering a child-centred educational curriculum. At Little Saints Newborough, I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment that offers developmentally appropriate programs and encourages children to explore, discover, and grow. I strongly believe that a supportive and caring environment is essential for fostering curiosity and lifelong learning in young children.

As a mother of two teenage children, a daughter and a son, I am here to support parents beginning their child's education journey. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog—if you ever need an icebreaker, feel free to ask me about her!

Rooms

Nursery 1

Babies from 6 weeks

A space for our littlest learners to start to babble, crawl, and explore.

We have babies who are exclusively breast fed, bottle fed and just beginning solids.

Nursery 2

12months - 18months

Our little learners are now walking with confidence, feeding themselves, and trying to communicate! This room is designed to help them take leaps and bounds through their developmental milestones!

Toddler 1

18month - 24months

Walking, running and climbing - oh how time flies! Our little learners are now big toddlers ready to start building independence and self-help skills!

Toddler 2

2 - 3years

Personalities are getting big, friendships are being developed, and it's all a bundle of fun!

Our little learners are able to communicate needs (verbally or through gestures), play together and explore the world!

Funded 3yo Kinder

3-4year olds

It's already time for Kindergarten!

We are a Victorian Government Approved Kindergarten Program, focused on giving children the best start, for the best life!

Funded 4yo Kinder

Pre-Prep

This is the last year before children head to school!

This is a 30 hour a week program of teacher-led play and learning. We focus on getting children school ready through educational, social and emotional learning.
